Jan Neal, RN, CCS ― Jan is a registered nurse of 20+ years with experience primarily in the critical care field. She is also experienced in Utilization Management and Discharge Planning. Jan has served as the Head Nurse of an Emergency Department and Director of Medical Records for a large metropolitan hospital. She has worked for the Peer Review Organization for the State of Texas (TMF) and has been coding since 1985.  Jan is a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and belongs to the professional coding organizations AHIMA and TXHIMA and is an accomplished speaker on all aspects of coding services.

Thana Kemper, CPC, CPC-H, CCS-P, CCS ― Thana is a certified coder with 20+ years of coding experience. She has been a coding/billing advisor in both the healthcare industry and a Texas based healthcare consulting firm. Thana is a member of the AAPC and AHIMA and has delivered presentations at the AAPC national and regional conventions speaking on revenue codes and emergency department coding.  Thana is credentialed to teach the AAPC coding curriculum for physician and facility coding. She is experienced with Medicare's GPNet and billing issues for PPS and critical access hospitals.
